Accessibility Statement
Living Light Reset wants livinglightreset.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology or who have accessibility needs.
1. Our goal
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We have not yet completed a full audit against that standard, so we do not claim that the site currently conforms to it. This statement describes what we are doing and where we know we fall short, and we will update it as that changes.
We are a small organisation, and Ontario’s website accessibility standard under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act applies to organisations with 50 or more employees. We are below that threshold, so we are working toward WCAG 2.1 AA because we think it is right, not because we are required to.
Two things do apply to us at any size, and we take them seriously. If you need information from us in an accessible format, or need a communication support to use our services, we will provide it on request and at no extra cost, and we will work with you on what format suits you. Separately, our duty to accommodate disability under the Ontario Human Rights Code applies regardless of how many people we employ.
2. What we do when building and updating pages
- Provide text alternatives for images that carry meaning.
- Aim for colour contrast that meets WCAG AA.
- Keep navigation consistent, and keep interactive elements reachable by keyboard.
- Use descriptive link text and clear page headings.
- Use semantic HTML so that assistive technology can interpret page structure.
- Add captions to new video content.
3. Known limitations
We know that some parts of the site do not yet meet our goal:
- Older embedded video content that does not have captions.
- Third-party embedded tools, including booking forms and quiz widgets, which are built and controlled by outside providers and have their own accessibility limitations.
- Some pages have not yet been tested with a screen reader.
- Complex graphics and comparison layouts that may need fuller text descriptions.
We are working through these.
4. Third-party content
Parts of our website rely on outside platforms, including Practice Better for booking, our quiz tool, and video hosting. We ask our providers to meet accessibility standards, but we do not control their interfaces and cannot guarantee they are accessible. If you hit a barrier on an embedded tool, contact us and we will give you another way to get the same information or complete the same action.
5. If something is not accessible to you
If you cannot access content or complete an action on our website because of an accessibility barrier, contact us. We will provide the information or service another way where we reasonably can, including by phone, by email, or in a different document format. There is no charge for this.
6. Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of livinglightreset.com.

If you are reporting a barrier, it helps if you can include the address of the page, a description of the problem, the browser or assistive technology you were using, and how you would like us to reply. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
You can also give feedback by phone or by post if that is easier, and you can ask us to reply in an accessible format.
7. If you are not satisfied with our response
You may raise a concern with:
- Canada: the Canadian Human Rights Commission, http://www.chrc-ccdp.gc.ca
- Ontario: the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario, http://www.ontario.ca/accessibility, and the Ontario Human Rights Commission, http://www.ohrc.on.ca

8. Ongoing work
Accessibility is ongoing rather than a single project. We review our practices as part of regular site development. This statement was last reviewed on 25 July 2026.
